“When my script was finished, I was unsure who would be the best voice to tell the story. After speaking to Chérie I felt she was genuinely interested in the project and was the best fit for it. She showed superb technical skills, which made it easy to collaborate and make corrections. I would have never imagined my story would actually come to life the way it did. I couldn’t have done it without you Chérie . I look forward to working together in the future.”

Magpie Audio Productions did top quality professional recording and interviewing of twenty members of my drawing group for our oral history project. Cherie Newman was easy to work with knew how to make each of us comfortable with the recording setup, The project was completed on time to the specifications of the Montana Memory Project. She went above and beyond the scope of project by managing complex scheduling and providing extra audio excerpts and transcripts. The interviews turned out better than we could have imagined and are preserved for posterity because of Magpie Audio Productions five star service.

Chérie did the final edits and mixing for a full-season (10 episodes) of my interview-style podcast aimed at writers and others interested in the world of nonfiction. Perhaps because of her own background producing "Book Talk" for Montana Public Radio, or just her own highly-attuned ear, she did an incredible job of really bringing my interviews alive through shrewd edits and low-key but wonderful sound design. I felt like I could really trust her to "get" what I was trying to do with my show. Chérie works smart, hard, and with incredible dedication. For anyone who needs a first-rate producer — but especially anyone embarking on an interview-style podcast — I can't say enough good things about working with her!

— Paul Zakrzewski, podcast producer, The Book I Had To Write
